Hanneke Cassel

She teaches fiddle at Alasdair Fraser's Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddling School in California. A native of Oregon, she is the 1997 U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and was twice honored as the U.S. National Junior Scottish Fiddle Champion. In 1996, she was named Oregon State Grand Fiddle Champion, Texas-style, and received the Berklee U.S. Scholarship Award.
